About Me (Lenka)
I am a level 3 qualified Pilates Instructor. I also have qualifications teaching exercise to music, aqua-aerobics, Body Balance and Body Jam. I have been teaching since 2005 in various sport centres and village halls in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
I enjoy teaching Pilates as much as I enjoy practising it myself, I find I can relate to clients individual requirements and get a lot from seeing their progression over the weeks, months and even years.
What is Pilates? What are Pilates Exercises
Pilates is a non aerobic body conditioning method which has been practiced for over 80 years. Targeting the deep postural muscles that help to stabilize the spine. Pilates works by building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment.
Many physical therapists advise to practice Pilates to help improve body awareness and general health.
Pilates Excersise will:
- Give you a better posture
- A flatter stomach
- A trimmer waist
- Improved flexibility
- Reduce back pain
- Increase joint mobility
- Reduce stress levels

These classes focus on matwork based Pilates, blocks and rollers are sometimes used during the exercises

Exercise Mats are available to borrow for exercise at the trial class.
Trial classes and regular classes need to be booked in advance as numbers are limited, please contact me to reserve your place.
Unlike other fitness regimes, Pilates needs to be taught as a course and treated more as something you are studying for yourself than as just an "exercise class".
The course usually runs in 6 week blocks and must be paid in full at the trial lesson or at the first class
